SUSTAINABLE FASHION
Sustainable fashion is about sourcing raw materials and engaging in the production methods that consider the environment, Add it's about smart wardrobe choices; quality over quantity. Pieces that endure in style and resilience.
SUSTAINABLE PRACTICES
We research sustainable practices and incorporate them into our business; from the design of the collections to transiting to renewable energy to store fit outs. As designers, change and innovation are key drivers, and we believe that luxury and style don't have to be compromised in order to be ethical and sustainable.
Fabrics
At GINGER & SMART, where possible we source fabrics that are recyclable and bioegradable. We minimise the use of harmful chemicals, excessive water and energy usage and waste in production of our garments and milling of our fabrications.

Our collections are crafted from 100% sustainably sourced fabrics that are eco-friendly in their composition and construction. We source textiles that are created using renewable resources, reduced energy and water input during their processing resulting in garments that are less toxic to humans and the planet,
We have a moral obligation to the people who make our garments to provide living wage, healthy working hours, a safe hygienic workplace, protection of the environment, prohibition of forced labour.
We have personally visited and inspected many of our off-shore manufactures. All our off-shore manufacturers have been inspected independently receiving high ratings for worker's conditions, pay and practices by well recognised bodies.
COMMUNITY
As designers we have drawn endless inspiration from our iconic Australian landscape for many years to create our collections.
